Box header connector
Box header connectors are commonly referred to as: box header , and they usually consist of a square plastic female header and several neatly arranged square pins. The difference between box header connectors and ejector header connectors is that box header connectors have the latches on both sides removed.
Classification of box header connectors: box header connectors are divided by PIN pitch into 1.27mm pitch box header, 2.0mm pitch box header, and 2.54mm pitch box header; depending on the pitch, the diameter of the square pin header used also changes accordingly; by mounting type, they are further divided into 180 degree box header, 90 degree box header, and smt box header.
Function of box header connectors: after the box header is soldered onto the PCB board, it connects to a cable assembly of the corresponding specification, and then forms with another circuit the circuit connection method required by the designer. It is usually used to transmit control signals and weak currents.
Applications of box header connectors: the products are widely used in computer motherboards, LCD monitors, telecom cards, memory, mobile hard drives, card readers, digital cameras, MP3, PDA, LCD TVs, switches, car anti-theft devices, videophones, cordless phones, and various communication equipment products.
