The main body of the box header connector is a square plastic socket, with a number of square conductive pins arranged inside. According to the pin pitch, it can be divided into three common specifications: 1.27mm, 2.0mm, and 2.54mm. When the pitch is different, the diameter of the square pins is adjusted accordingly. The contact surface at the bottom with the PCB board can be designed as SMT surface mount or DIP through-hole 180 degrees. In addition, mounting forms such as 90-degree bent pins are also provided. After the box header is soldered onto the PCB board, electrical connection with other circuit modules is achieved by connecting IDC ribbon cables of the corresponding specification.
